====== Installation ======

First you need an extra account for each Bot you want to set up. \\
See [[howtos:how do you prepare a bot account - sl account settings|How do you prepare a Bot account - SL account settings]].

__You have to do that steps one time:__



===== Requirements =====

Install the [[http://silver.pikkubot.de/en/dotNetFx35setup.exe|Microsoft Framework 3.5]] \\
install the Service Pack 1 [[http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=ab99342f-5d1a-413d-8319-81da479ab0d7&displaylang=en]] \\
Install the [[:download|PikkuBot]] client (GUI) \\


===== Installation package ===== 

The ** PikkuBot_Installer_VERSION.exe ** installation package contains all necessary files. \\
You only have to double click it to run.\\

You can specify the destination path where you want to install. \\
\\
Note: Please use Installation-Path c:\PikkuBot\ with VISTA! \\
\\
** After the installation the PikkuBot will automatically create a link in the Start menu to the PikkuBot directory! **

====== Start ======

===== 1. Create a shortcut with PikkuHelper =====

  * Start the PikkuHelper.exe... thats the tool to create links (shortcuts). \\
  * Create one link for each Bot. \\
  * Fill out the required information and check "use Pikkustarter". \\
  * After that click on "create link". When created all links for all Bots then exit Pikkuhelper.\\
  * Pikkuhelper adds for each Bot two files in the Bot directory on your harddisk: one *.lnk and one *.exe\\
  * -> Just use the link to start your Bots (doubleclick on the link)\\

===== 2. Run the Bot with a shortcut ====

  * Create a shortcut by using Pikkuhelper or create it on your own using following parameters:

===== 3. Run the Bot from command line ====

Start >> execute >> cmd.exe
cd [Bot directory]
