Tomorrow we are travelling to this little island:
Please contact Rebekka Robbiani for support questions during our holidays - ty!
After one month without public updates, there is now a new version available for download. It will fix the cloud-bug with the new RC
My bots in Second Life are having part time jobs as models. Honestly there are not that many people who talk with them, but sometimes a newbie shoots them a message. So IM-relaying is turned on so I am able to help them. Due to the huge number of bite requests I have started setting vamppay to 400 L$ - the price for being removed from the database if bitten. The result was this funny dialog which I'd like to share with you.
The names of the bot and the players have been replaced to protect their privacy.
[17:06] Model Bot: IM-RELAY: [vampire player]: may y byte you
A bite request happened and the bot and the bot offers the deal.
[17:07] Model Bot: IM-RELAY: [vampire player]: we dont have money
[17:09] Model Bot: IM-RELAY: [vampire player]: we have money but we dont deal like that with humans
No comments.
Sorry, took some time for this one,
and sorry again for the poor frame rate, was recorded with it, and was too lazy to record again
this time we learn different capabilities to make our bot sit on its butt,
and we teach it to fill its ANSWERS.txt for answering dialogues…
Hope you enjoy…
A small PikkuBot-Update The current version seems to be very stable and uses a minimum of resources, please try it and download/install.

[…]We will not be banning or removing Bots from Second Life. There are many amazing and useful ways to use Bots[..]
Tell me Jack, with which alt you have tested a PikkuBot to get to this conclusion
“Eve die wandelbare die man nur auf den zweiten blick erkennt mit geschultem auge ^^ hoffe mal die Unterwelt des Bösen gewährt dir noch einblicke in seine Blutigen Regionen und das du uns daran weiter teil haben lässt .”

At the moment there are some discussions about bots at the Second Life blog. I like to read things like this:
The site for the most popular commerial bot openly graphs how many active bot logins there are. Right now its at around 2000 avs on grid. Another program that used to be popular now accounts for only 200 live on grid.
